Note: This fee partially offsets the amount of time and effort involved in setting up your page. This offer is made, to our membership at large, in the common interest that by networking together in this way, everyone will benefit.

Want Your Own Domain (your-own.com)?

Hosting of full domains (your-own.com) is available for a fee of $60 annually, guaranteed for as long as you remain a member in good standing. This hosting plan gives full access to your account to you or your web-designer and does not include design or update services through CONA.

Full Domain Hosting Includes web-panel access to your account, 100mb storage space, one FTP account, one e-mail account at (---@your-own.com) unlimited e-mail aliases at (---@your-own.com) which will be forwarded to any existing e-mail address, web forms and more.

Program Highlights
 

For a one time setup fee of $150 plus an annual hosting fee of $30 you get a personal web-page which includes your logo*, eight photographs*, and up to two pages of text*. If you want to have more information, such as a contact form , or additional pages to separate various services, they can be added for an additional fee .

Afterwards, long as you remain a member of CONA there is only $30/year server fee for each year beyond the first. Should you wish to make adjustments to your page after activation, such as pricing changes or photo substitutions you will be allowed up to four updates per year. Additional changes will incur a small "per occurrence" charge.

*(Photos and text must be submitted in electronic format via email or on floppy disk.)

Text transcription and scanning is available for members unable to supply electronic text or photos. An additional charge of $15 / page, $15 / 3 photos will be required to help offset the increased costs.

FAQ's

What is a sub domain? - A sub domain is one which resides on a sub directory of a top level domain, cona.org is a top level domain. Your personal web page will reside in a sub directory called /webpages/(your company name)

How will my page be found? - Cona.org is being promoted to the search engines and web directories. Your site will be found when searchers locate cona.org and select your state on the locator page, also when your page is returned directly by the search engines. You are also encouraged to submit your URL to your many local and regional directories and tourism sites.
(Generally, sub domains are not indexed when submitted to the search engines therefore your page will not be promoted as an individual entity. However, your page will be indexed when cona.org is spidered by most search engines.)

If a customer manually enters or bookmarks my web-site, will they be taken cona.org? - No, your URL is unique and brings visitors directly to your page, however there will be a reciprocal link to cona on your page. We strongly suggest you advertise your URL on your business cards and promotional literature, as it belongs to you alone.

How much text is allowed? - Two standard letter size pages. Most visitors will NOT take the time to read large amounts of text, we recommend you make your information succinct.

Can I get a larger page? - Yes, you may add more pages for an additional charge of $50 per page. If you want an involved site we recommend you purchase a top level domain and hire a design and hosting service.

Can I have a contact form on my page? - Yes, a form would be considered an additional page of text.

What if I need to make changes to, or update my page? - Changes or updates to an active page, in addition to the four allowed per year are subject to a per occurrence charge of $10. For VERY MINOR changes this fee may be waived at the discretion of our webmaster.

How much design input will I have into my page? - In addition to your choice of photographs and text you may select a distinct background style or color, as well as text style and color. The general layout of your page is at the discretion of our webmaster. If you have a particular layout in mind please indicate this to our webmaster during your initial submission. You will have an opportunity to make any corrections which may be necessary before your page is published.
